In a groundbreaking step toward inclusive communication, grassroots empowerment, and social transformation, Drishti Foundation Trust proudly announces the launch of its Community Radio Station FM 88.4. This initiative is not just a platform for broadcasting — it is a platform for connection, collaboration, and collective growth. Anchored in the ethos of development, education, health, and environmental awareness, FM 88.4 is set to become the heartbeat of the community — amplifying local voices, talents, and stories that matter.

Why a Community Radio Station?

Community radio is more than a medium — it’s a movement. In a country as diverse and dynamic as India, where every region has its unique culture, language, and challenges, community radio serves as a bridge between the people and the development process. Recognizing this powerful potential, Drishti Foundation Trust envisioned a radio station that reflects the spirit of the communities it serves — engaging, informing, inspiring, and involving them in nation-building.

FM 88.4 – Drishti Community Radio is designed to become the people’s voice, offering content that is hyperlocal, relevant, and rooted in social good. Whether it’s education, public health, women empowerment, livelihoods, environmental action, or local culture — every aspect of community life will find its expression here.

About Drishti Foundation Trust

Established over a decade ago, Drishti Foundation Trust is a leading non-profit organization working relentlessly in the domains of Health, Education, and Environment. With Special Consultative Status from ECOSOC of the United Nations since 2017, the Trust has executed transformative projects across India — from cleaning rivers and rejuvenating lakes to protecting biodiversity and reviving traditional water conservation systems.

The launch of FM 88.4 is a natural extension of Drishti’s commitment to people-centric, sustainable development. It reinforces the organization’s belief that empowerment begins with awareness, and awareness begins with communication.
