On June 5, 2025, coinciding with World Environment Day, Drishti Foundation Trust launched a significant environmental initiative: the Ubhrat Beach Cleaning Drive in Navsari, Gujarat. This endeavor was conducted in collaboration with the Forest Department and the District Administration of Navsari and was generously supported by Resonia Limited, a corporation committed to sustainable development. 

The initiative saw the convergence of over 100 dedicated volunteers, all united by a shared mission to rejuvenate Ubhrat Beach and combat marine pollution. Armed with gloves, collection bags, and an unwavering sense of responsibility, the volunteers embarked on a meticulous cleanup operation. In a single day, they successfully removed an astounding 907 kilograms of plastic waste from the beach, including plastic bottles, food wrappers, packaging materials, fishing nets, and other non-biodegradable debris.

Ubhrat Beach, a coastal gem in the Navsari district, has long been cherished for its serene landscapes and tranquil ambiance. However, increased human activity and inadequate waste management had led to significant pollution, threatening both the visual appeal and the ecological balance of the area.
